Word Count: 500 Warnings: Violence, Blood Created for the Tropetember Event - (Alternate Universe) The idea of a mirrored universe had been tossed around by intellectuals for millennia, but very few believed in the reality of it. Though, having found herself where she is now, Sierra realizes maybe they were right. Realistically, it had always sounded like a strange fever dream. She was meant to expect that somewhere else, there was a universe where she was the good-natured one? And what, was Liam the villain? Ridiculous. However, as she stood toe to toe with an entirely different Liam than she’d ever seen before, Sierra wondered. His eyes were dark as they bored into hers. It was like he was challenging her to give up and just let him do whatever he intended. “Sierra, haven’t I told you to stay out of my business?” “No, I don’t recall that you have, Liam.” She snapped back, gritting her teeth. If he expected this to be an easy win, he was in over his head. “Come now, darling, we’ve discussed this before. You’ll never be cut out for this, and I’m sick of hearing you whine about how I treat the civilians. If I had known you’d be so weak, I’d have married someone el—” The final word was cut off as Sierra punched the Mirror Liam in the jaw. He stumbled back and raised his hand to the hurt area momentarily. She watched as a mixture of shock, confusion, and anger flashed across his features before it settled firmly on rage. “You bitch!” Sierra was expecting it, so when the first swing came, she wasn’t there anymore. A half-hearted laugh rang out around him as she popped up behind him. “Liam… I don’t think you understand what you’ve gotten yourself into. However, I need you alive if I intend to return home, so I would suggest you stand down.” “Fuck you. You’re not in charge.” He spun around and swung again knocking her backwards. While she was off balance, Mirror Liam took another pot-shot and slammed her to the floor. Sierra’s head bounced against the hard tile and her vision blurred momentarily. “Learn your place.” Another hit and Sierra’s head flew to the side. She could taste blood after yet another blow. Absolute asshole. “Maybe I should just get rid of you and then I won’t have to deal with a useless excuse for a wife anymore.” “I warned you.” “Of what, you’ve practically already lo—” Mirror Liam gasped as Sierra’s fist collided with his throat. Before he knew it, she had dragged him up from the floor and slammed him against the wall. Sierra swung again and smiled at the resounding crack as her aim hit true. “Fuck, stop, Sierra. I’ll help you, good God. I don’t know who you even really are, but okay, okay. I’ll help.” “You will. You don’t get a choice in this, darling.” Sierra flung the Mirror Liam back to the floor and spat blood onto the tiles beside him. “We do this my way, or not at all.” “Understood.”
